Meet the Dentists at Zielinski Family Dentistry
Henry J. Zielinski, JR. DDS, MAGD: Dr. Zielinski is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry and a Fellow with the American Endodontic Society. He provides services in prosthetic dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, orthodontics, temporal-mandibular joint dysfunction, Periodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Zielinski also performs a new surgical technique for correcting gum recession called the Pinhole® Surgical Technique. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in General Arts and Sciences from Penn State University in 1970, Dr. Zielinski began his dental training at Temple University that same year. He graduated a year ahead of his class in 1973. He was awarded a certificate in Orthodontics from Long Island University in 1980, and went on to receive his Mastership in General Dentistry from the Academy of General Dentistry in 1997.

Dr. Zielinski is extensively involved in many distinguished organizations within the dental field. He is the former President of both the Luzerne County Dental Association and the Third District Dental Society, and also belongs to the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry (Master), the American Endodontic Society (Fellow), the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Orthodontic Society, the American Equilibration Society, and the American Academy of Sleep Dental Medicine.
Caroline C. Zielinski, DMD: Dr. Caroline joins her father in the Plains office to provide the best oral health care available. She specializes in pediatric dentistry and adult care.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the Pennsylvania State University in 2011, Dr. Zielinski began her dental training that same year. She graduated with honors from the Temple University School of Dentistry in 2015, along with Kornberg School of Dentistry. She is an International Congress of Oral Implantology award winner in recognition of her interest and commitment to oral implantology and implant dentistry.
She is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association and is on the board of the Luzerne County Dental Society as the acting Secretary. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry and has already begun her journey to continue her education in the ever-expanding field of dentistry. Dr. Caroline is certified in the Pinhole® Surgical Technique and Botox®.
